
The Account Assistant will manage financial transactions, handle accounts receivable and payable, and support the Accounting Department while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
As an Account Assistant, you will manage financial transactions by recording them accurately in the General Ledger and processing payments through bank portals. Your role includes handling accounts receivable and payable, supporting the Accounting Department with various tasks, and performing office duties such as filing and data entry. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role
Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
Capable of multitasking with a strong commitment to efficiency and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer usage
Knowledge of or familiarity with AutoCount Accounting System (or similar systems such as SQL) is an added advantage
Able to start immediately (urgent hiring)
Willing to work on a 6-month contract basis
