Job Description
As an Account Assistant, you will engage in daily financial activities, including recording transactions in the General Ledger and processing payments. You will work in a collaborative environment, supporting various accounting tasks while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions by accurately recording them in the General Ledger.
- Process payments through bank portals efficiently.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable tasks.
- Support the Accounting Department with various administrative tasks.
- Perform office duties such as filing and data entry.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial matters.
- Maintain organized records to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role.
Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
Capable of multitasking with a strong commitment to efficiency and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer usage.
Knowledge of or familiarity with AutoCount Accounting System (or similar systems such as SQL) is an added advantage.
Able to start immediately (urgent hiring).
Willing to work on a 6-month contract basis.
