
The Account Assistant will oversee invoicing, payments, and client billing while ensuring accurate financial records. Proficiency in accounting software and attention to detail are essential for managing accounts receivable and payable effectively.
As an Account Assistant, you will manage the full accounts receivable and payable cycle, including handling receipts, invoices, and payment processing using Auto Count. You will issue proposals and client billing invoices, perform monthly bank reconciliations, and generate reports on debtor aging. Additionally, you'll manage petty cash and staff expense claims while maintaining organized filing systems. Your role will also involve supporting payroll and audit processes as needed, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Minimum 1–2 years experience in an accounts role
Proficient in Auto Count or similar accounting software
Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia — written and spoken
High attention to detail, proactive and able to work independently
Familiar with Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
