Job Description

As an Account Assistant, you will engage in daily tasks that involve managing receipts, invoices, and payment processing using Auto Count. You will also be responsible for issuing proposals and client billing invoices, performing monthly bank reconciliations, and generating reports on debtor aging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full accounts receivable and payable cycle.
  • Handle receipts, invoices, and payment processing using Auto Count.
  • Issue proposals and client billing invoices.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Generate reports on debtor aging.
  • Manage petty cash and staff expense claims.
  • Maintain organized filing systems.
  • Support payroll and audit processes as needed.

Job Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Minimum 1–2 years experience in an accounts role.

Proficient in Auto Count or similar accounting software.

Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia — written and spoken.

High attention to detail, proactive and able to work independently.

Familiar with Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
