The Account Assistant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance within the organization.

The Account Assistant will engage in various accounting tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations in a dynamic work environment. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily accounting operations including data entry and filing.
• Handle accounts receivables and payables efficiently.
• Ensure timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Issue invoices, purchase orders, quotations, and cheque payments.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries on audit, tax, and secretarial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor company expenditure against budget and cash flow.
• Support ad-hoc finance functions and activities.
