The Accounts Associate - Room Income Audit engages in daily tasks that involve auditing hotel room revenues and maintaining financial accuracy. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with various operational teams to address income audit variances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily income audit functions related to hotel room revenues.
- Ensure accurate recording of all income from rooms in accounting records.
- Prepare daily sales journals and exceptional reports.
- Conduct reconciliations and analyses for various ledger accounts.
- Report breaches of internal control procedures to the Assistant Finance Manager.
- Liaise with operational personnel on income audit variances.
- Maintain document control and office upkeep within the section.
Job Requirements
Possess minimum SPM / LCCI / STPM / 'A' Level / Pre-U or Diploma / Certificate in Accounting / Finance / Banking or ACCA / CIMA / MICPA Level 1 or equivalent.
Possess computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Able to write and converse in English.
Possess good disciplinary records.
