Join EY AI & Data, a leading data and advanced analytics capability in the Asia-Pacific region, where you will work with over 500 specialists across various industries. As a Data Engineer in our Malaysia office, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to tackle data challenges using advanced analysis techniques, contributing to a culture focused on excellence and innovation.
In this full-time role, you will be involved in all aspects of project life-cycle, including strategy, road-mapping, architecture, implementation, and development. This position offers maximum exposure to set you up for a successful consulting career, while working with cutting-edge technologies and a supportive team environment.
Job Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience as an ETL developer or data engineer in the data and analytics domain
Experience with batch ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, Talend) or open-source data integration tools (e.g., Kafka, Nifi)
Knowledge of end-to-end project delivery using traditional SDLC or agile methodologies
Exceptional communication, documentation, and presentation skills
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Analytics
Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Consulting experience with direct client engagement
Delivery role experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data, or analytics projects
