Job Description
SearchApi is seeking an Anti-Bot Engineer who is passionate about overcoming anti-bot systems such as Cloudflare and Akamai. This role involves deep technical work including reverse engineering bot detection systems and implementing evasion techniques. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems that have a real impact on our customers, as our API supports production workloads for Fortune 500 companies and fast-moving startups.
Job Requirements
BSc or higher in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
Deep experience with Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium internals
Understanding of browser fingerprinting techniques and how to spoof them
Experience bypassing at least one major anti-bot system (Cloudflare, Akamai, etc.)
Proficiency in network traffic analysis tools (Wireshark, Burp Suite, etc.)
Strong debugging skills and a persistent mindset
Excellent documentation and communication skills in English
