
The Assistant General Manager (Group Investment) plays a crucial role in evaluating and structuring corporate investment proposals. This position requires a strong understanding of financial regulations and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
The Assistant General Manager (Group Investment) will be responsible for evaluating business proposals, conducting feasibility studies, and preparing necessary documentation for corporate proposals. This role involves advising on regulatory compliance, liaising with professional parties, and ensuring all disclosures are accurate and compliant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance and excellent communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or professional qualification ie ACCA, MICPA or CFA
Minimum 8 to 10 years of working experience with at least 4 years of corporate finance experience in the merchant banking environment
Good knowledge of the capital markets, securities law and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities
Possess good writing and research skills with the ability to structure investment and corporate finance proposals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and highly adaptive in challenging working environment
