Role Summary
The Assistant Manager / Manager, Offline Double Chlorination (ODC) & Cleanroom (CR) is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of ODC and CR cleanrooms. This role involves leading a team, ensuring quality standards, and driving process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the ODC and CR cleanrooms, focusing on process monitoring, packing output, and production scheduling. You will lead and mentor a team of executives and technicians, conducting performance reviews and managing headcount planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily ODC & CR cleanroom operations.
- Monitor processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Schedule production and packing output effectively.
- Lead and mentor the ODC & CR executive and technician team.
- Conduct performance reviews and set KPIs for team members.
- Manage headcount planning and resource allocation.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for quality and yield issues.
- Escalate critical deviations to the Head of Department (HOD).
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Job Requirements
Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent from reputable universities.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cleanroom or related manufacturing/process operations.
At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 13485 & ISO 14644 environment is an added advantage.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work under deadlines.
