
The Assistant Manager/Manager - Risk Management will play a crucial role in enhancing the risk management framework of IOI Properties Group. This position involves coordinating risk assessments, analyzing risk data, and preparing reports for management, while fostering a strong risk culture within the organization.
Support the implementation and periodic enhancement of the Group’s risk management framework, policies, and related processes. Coordinate and facilitate risk identification and risk assessment exercises with business units and support functions. Review and analyse risk registers, risk profiles, and related information to identify key risks, emerging issues, and matters requiring management attention. Work closely with business units and support functions on risk management matters and reporting requirements.
A bachelor’s degree in a field such as Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or any other relevant fields.
4–6 years of relevant working experience in risk management, internal control, compliance, audit, governance, or related functions.
Experience in a public listed company, large corporate, or complex multi-business environment would be an added advantage.
Good understanding of risk management, governance, and internal control principles; familiarity with recognised frameworks such as ISO 31000 and COSO ERM is an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and engage effectively with stakeholders across functions.
Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to review information critically and identify key issues.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision, manage multiple assignments, and meet reporting timelines.
Able to assess risk management issues in a practical manner and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
