The Backend Developer at GREEN-i is responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems, focusing on API and CMS engineering within a collaborative on-site team. The Backend Developer role at GREEN-i involves building clean, stable, and scalable backend systems, focusing on API and CMS engineering, within an on-site collaborative team environment at the Puchong studio. The developer will contribute significantly to the growth and performance of the Tech Team by developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, integrating various systems, developing custom backend functionality for WordPress or Drupal, and working on internal white-label product backend components. Additional responsibilities include designing and optimizing MySQL schemas, improving backend performance and data handling, troubleshooting backend issues, and providing support across managed CMS websites. The role emphasizes a collaborative work style and long-term quality in backend development.
