Job Description
At Aurecon, we are looking for a motivated BIM Intern to join our Digital Engineering team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across multidisciplinary engineering projects. You will collaborate closely with experienced BIM Modellers, BIM Coordinators, and Engineers to support project delivery while enhancing your technical and digital engineering skills.
As a BIM Intern, you will assist in developing and maintaining BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software, produce 2D drawings and 3D models, and ensure compliance with project standards. You will also participate in model reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to digital engineering initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Basic knowledge of BIM concepts and workflows.
Familiarity with Autodesk Revit is preferred.
Exposure to AutoCAD, Navisworks, or other BIM-related software is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
