Role Summary
The Building Officer is responsible for managing MEP and building services to ensure the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program. This role plays a crucial part in site facility management, HSE management, and vendor management, contributing to the overall operational standards and asset management.
Job Description
As a Building Officer, you will engage in daily management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with the Facilities Manager and technical teams to maintain site operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage MEP and building services to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist the Facilities Manager with site facility management tasks.
- Implement and monitor the preventive maintenance program.
- Minimize risks of plant failures through proactive measures.
- Maintain and update the site asset register regularly.
- Review and manage stock levels of required inventory.
- Recommend management initiatives and energy management plans.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Familiarity with utilities equipment.
1 to 2 years of working experience in a related field.
Strong responsibility for managing MEP and building services.
Experience in site facility management and technical team management.
