Role Summary
The Food Safety Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulations. This position involves conducting inspections, microbiology tests, and coordinating pest control measures to maintain high food safety standards within the organization.
Job Description
Assist in maintaining HACCP and ISO Certification for F&B Operations and Management through implementation of Food and Safety Management System (FSMS). Conduct microbiology tests in the Food Safety Laboratory for food and environmental samples. Coordinate sending selected samples to external laboratories for chemical/biology laboratory tests. Conduct on-site inspections of the food production chain for compliance with SOP and regulatory requirements. Attend to food poisoning cases and conduct investigations for immediate rectification.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Food Study/ Microbiology.
Preferable 1 year experience in the related field with knowledge on Food and Safety Management System.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and writing.
Confident and strong interactive skills with internal/external parties.
Good knowledge of computer software applications and report writing skills.
