Business Analyst, Consultant – AIA Malaysia (Insurance)
Role Summary
The Business Analyst, Consultant is responsible for facilitating and creating accurate and clear User Requirements for system enhancements and projects. This role significantly impacts the Customer Experience Division by ensuring alignment with business goals and managing User Acceptance Testing activities.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and oversee testing processes, ensuring that all initiatives meet organizational standards. You will also be involved in tracking progress, managing resources, and proposing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions to gather and clarify user requirements.
- Review project specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Document business outcomes and prepare test strategies and plans.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for various initiatives.
- Monitor test execution and defects, providing timely updates.
- Develop junior analysts through mentorship and guidance.
- Propose process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and test management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Business, Finance, IT)
7-8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services and policy servicing
Strong command of English (written and spoken)
Good presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Able to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office applications
