This role is for a Business Analyst who works with business users to gather requirements, conduct functional analysis, and map business processes within software development projects. The position involves converting business requirements into functional and technical specifications, managing stakeholder communication, supporting users post go-live, and participating in the full software development lifecycle.
The Business Analyst role involves working with business users to gather requirements, conduct functional analysis, and map business processes within a software development project. The analyst converts business requirements into functional and technical specifications, manages stakeholder communication, supports post go-live user requests, participates in the full software development lifecycle, plans and executes user training and testing, coordinates project sprints and scrum sessions, and supports the project team to ensure successful project completion.
Able to work independently and as part of a bigger team.
Strong command of English to communicate professionally at all levels.
Able to converse in Mandarin is a must.
Able to write documentation and articulate ideas well.
Familiar with BPM, UML diagramming, User Stories to produce software/functional documentation.
Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
At least 2-3 years working experience in any software development projects. Fresh graduates with interest in business analysis and software projects are welcomed.
Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau) is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of software development and technical background is an added advantage.
IT software project management experience is an added advantage.
Able to manage direct reports, working closely with other teammates to produce results.
Require to travel to client location for workshops, sprint reviews, deployment or support, with travel costs reimbursed.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong communication skills at all levels.
Keen eye for details, strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Good general business knowledge.
