The Business Development Manager is responsible for accelerating Schneider Electric’s growth across East Malaysia. This role involves expanding market presence and developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
As a Business Development Manager for East Malaysia, you will engage in day-to-day activities that focus on market expansion and stakeholder collaboration. You will work in a dynamic environment, identifying priority segments and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Accelerate growth across Sabah and Sarawak. - Expand market presence by developing new business opportunities. - Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants and EPCs. - Identify priority segments such as Water, Buildings, and Utilities. - Influence specifications early in the project cycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. - Drive demand and pipeline growth through effective strategies.
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development within building, industrial, or energy sectors.
Proven ability to open new accounts and develop new markets effectively.
Strong network with consultants, EPCs, and end users in Sabah or Sarawak.
Knowledge of MV/LV systems, UPS, BMS/EMS, Industrial Automation, or Sustainability.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Ability to lead opportunity shaping and support multi-BU deal strategies.
