
The Buying Team Leader is responsible for planning and procuring materials to meet manufacturing needs for assigned projects and customers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material availability and optimal inventory levels to support production and supply chain activities.
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day procurement activities, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability. You will also address material shortages and maintain system accuracy to support manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
At least 5 to 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar field.
Knowledge of manufacturing and procurement processes.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
