The Channel Marketing Manager at AMD is responsible for planning and coordinating marketing activities focused on server branded systems and components. The Channel Marketing Manager (Server) is responsible for planning, activating, and coordinating AMD-led marketing activities across various business segments with a focus on server branded systems and components. This role involves managing regional event and influencer engagements, media content creation, and collaborating with regional marketing and sales teams to drive growth through OEM, ODM, and reseller channel programs. The position supports communication between global and regional marketing teams to execute strategic marketing programs that foster reseller and distributor engagement, aligning closely with sales and corporate marketing initiatives.
Relevant marketing work experience in the semiconductor, consumer electronics, IT industry, or event-focused marketing industry.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or training.
Minimum 8 years of experience delivering channel marketing or field marketing programs in the APAC region.
Outstanding communication skills with excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Copywriting experience or experience in graphic design is a plus.
Project management experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple partners.
Deep knowledge and expertise of server hardware marketing, including topics like Cloud, Telco, Security, AI, and Manufacturing.
Strong understanding of server hardware, software deployment, and compute use cases such as High-Performance Computing.
Experience developing and activating marketing programs for ODMs, Systems Integrators, resellers, and distribution partners.
Experience working with ecosystem partners such as AWS, Azure, or Google is a bonus.
Willingness and passion to travel at least 30% for customer meetings and partner activities.
Experience in B2B Account-Based Marketing including lead generation, customer segmentation, marketing asset development, and sales pipeline management.
Energetic, team-player attitude with optimism and a can-do mindset.
