The Chargeman BO [11kV] is responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems within the facility. This role involves a combination of hands-on maintenance, supervision of contractors, and emergency response in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Job Description
As a Chargeman BO [11kV], you will engage in daily inspections and maintenance of electrical facilities, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. You will work closely with a team and external contractors to address any electrical issues that arise, while also being prepared for emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the LV room and Genset are in good condition.
- Perform electrical works and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Inspect electrical facilities for compliance and safety.
- Monitor electrical consumption and troubleshoot faults.
- Supervise external contractors during maintenance activities.
- Be on standby during emergencies to address electrical issues.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Hold Professional Certification of Chargeman BO (11kV) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience in panel and switchboard fabrication, termination, and testing.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
Able to work independently and in a team.
Willing to work in shift mode.
High sense of responsibility.
Ability to supervise external contractors.
