Job Description
The Civil & Structural Inspector of Works (IOW) is responsible for supervising and inspecting all civil and structural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and statutory regulations. This role demands a high level of independence, technical judgment, and close coordination with the Engineer, Consultants, and Contractor. Key responsibilities include site supervision, quality control, documentation, reporting, coordination, communication, and ensuring safety and statutory compliance.
Job Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3–6 years of hands-on experience in site supervision, particularly in foundation works, post-tensioning works, and superstructure building works.
Prior experience working with Consultants is highly preferred.
Registered Inspector of Works (IOW) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
Strong site coordination, inspection, and documentation skills.
