This role involves supporting the contract team by managing quotation requests, conducting price negotiations, preparing Bills of Quantities, and handling various commercial and contractual tasks related to interior design and fit-out projects. The position requires close collaboration with clients and consultants, participation in project meetings, and management of progress payment claims and change orders.
The role involves supporting the Contract team on assigned projects by managing quotation requests, conducting price negotiations with suppliers, and preparing Bills of Quantities along with detailed pricing and cost breakdowns. The person will liaise with clients and consultants on commercial matters, participate in project meetings providing contractual guidance, conduct site evaluations for progress claims, and prepare and manage Change Orders, Variation Orders, and Letters of Commitment. Additionally, they will prepare and submit progress payment claims to clients, verify subcontractor and supplier payment claims, and undertake other contractual and commercial tasks as assigned by Management.
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Interior Design or Fit-Out industry.
Experience in retail projects is an added advantage.
Positive working attitude, disciplined, proactive, and results-oriented.
Strong knowledge of pre-contract administration, cost estimation, tendering, and post-contract management.
Familiarity with Standard Method of Measurement (SMM) rules and BQ preparation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to read drawings and interpret project schedules effectively.
