Job Description
The Quantity Surveyor Intern will assist the Quantity Surveying team in the interior fit-out industry with tasks such as cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and procurement support. This internship provides hands-on experience in fit-out sectors, with opportunities to contribute to real projects under professional mentorship.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management from a recognized university.
Strong interest in the construction and interior fit-out industry, particularly in cost management and project delivery.
Basic understanding of cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in Excel spreadsheets being a plus.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and other construction-related software is an advantage.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Attention to detail with good organizational and time management skills.
Eagerness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and show a proactive approach.
