Job Description
In this position, the Contract Executive (QS) will engage in daily activities that include preparing Bills of Quantities, sourcing subcontractors, and conducting cost analyses. The work environment is dynamic, requiring interaction with both site and commercial teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction contracts by developing practical terms based on site insights.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities for various projects.
- Source and evaluate subcontractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Validate claims and conduct thorough cost analyses.
- Maintain costing databases for effective project execution.
- Collaborate with site and commercial teams to address project needs.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project timelines.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in contract award across multiple trades, specializing in high-rise projects.
Strong analytical thinking with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and manage follow-ups effectively.
Experience in cost breakdowns, value engineering, or subcontract negotiation is an added advantage.
Comfortable interacting with both site and commercial teams.
