Job Description
The role of Controlling Operations GBU Senior Financial Analyst involves providing controlling support to local Business Units, including preparation of budgets and forecasts, monthly closings, project approval and tracking, and other financial planning and analysis activities. This position is part of a Finance transformation team aimed at improving processes and collaboration with Finance and business partners to enhance analytical and interpersonal abilities, while supporting the transformation of how Sanofi controls sales, industrial costing, operating expenses, and capital expenses.
Job Requirements
Experience of 3+ years in diversified financial controlling.
Ability to build partnerships with multi-levels across businesses.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Ability to propose, lead, and drive change initiatives.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, V-look ups, and macros.

Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
Proven experience working with multiple internal stakeholders.
Technology savvy with business orientation and agile learning abilities.
Capability to work in multiple systems and tools.
Knowledge of evolving Sanofi technology platforms, processes, and controls including SAGA.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Preferred qualifications include MBA and/or CPA, experience in pharmaceutical and public accounting, commercial finance and Gross to Net, TM1 and SAP experience.
