We are seeking a Cost Engineer to support our Semiconductor Automation Supply Chain team. This role will involve providing cost estimates for both new and legacy products, ensuring supplier quotations align with cost targets, and transforming product costing through continuous improvement of systems and methodologies.
Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in cost estimating.
Strong background with mechanical commodities including sheet-metal, precision machining, and welding.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as drawings and blueprints.
Demonstrated strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Customer-focused and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
Knowledge of cost methodologies and software modeling tools, preferably aPriori.
