The Data Center Tender Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end tendering process for high-value data center opportunities. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and profitable contract negotiations within the East Asia zone.
Job Description
As a Data Center Tender Manager, you will engage in daily interactions with commercial teams and VIP customers, overseeing the tendering process in a dynamic work environment. You will define strategies, manage approvals, and facilitate negotiations to secure contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end tendering process for data center opportunities.
- Define tender strategies to align with business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for costing and risk assessment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial teams and VIP customers.
- Ensure offers meet technical and financial criteria.
- Manage internal approval processes efficiently.
- Support negotiations to secure profitable contracts.
- Facilitate a smooth transition to project execution.
Job Requirements
Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Tendering or Customer project environments.
At least 5 years of successful experience in functional or project team management.
Proven experience in Data Center environments is strongly preferred.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
