Deputy Manager, Shariah Audit – Bank Islam

The Deputy Manager, Shariah Audit is responsible for conducting all audit and non-audit Shariah engagements for Bank Islam and its subsidiaries. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations while upholding Shariah principles across the organization.

In this role, the Deputy Manager will engage in various audit activities, collaborating with different departments to enhance audit effectiveness. The work environment is dynamic, requiring strong leadership and communication skills to navigate the complexities of Islamic banking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an Annual Audit Plan to guide Shariah audit activities.
• Lead audits and document findings to ensure thorough reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance audit effectiveness.
• Analyze processes for control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Conduct non-audit Shariah engagements as required.
• Uphold strong ethics and integrity in all audit activities.
