Job Description

The Deputy Manager, Shariah Audit will conduct all audit and non-audit Shariah engagements for Bank Islam and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities include developing an Annual Audit Plan, leading audits, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure audit effectiveness and adherence to Shariah principles.

Job Requirements

Certification for Banking Auditors (CBA) or equivalent is a must

At least 3 years audit and Shariah experience in Islamic Banking sector

Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills

Good leadership and supervisory skills

In-depth experience in banking operations

Ability to analyze processes for control deficiencies

Strong ethics and integrity

Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
