
The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, retain, and grow business in the MICE sector. This role involves leading a sales team and ensuring operational excellence for events and venues within the leisure and hospitality business.
In this role, the Director of Sales will oversee day-to-day operations, manage client relationships, and collaborate with marketing efforts to drive business growth. The work environment is dynamic, requiring strong leadership and strategic thinking to navigate the competitive MICE landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in strategic event management with a focus on MICE events.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Dynamic 365 for business needs.
In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry including trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events.
