The Director of Sales at Genting Malaysia Berhad is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, retain, and grow business in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. This role involves leading the MICE sales team, overseeing sales performance, managing client relationships, collaborating with marketing efforts, and ensuring operational excellence for events and venues within the leisure and hospitality business.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in strategic event management with a focus on MICE events.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Dynamic 365 for business needs.
In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry including trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events.
