The EMC Design Advisor - Specialist (HPS) is responsible for developing advanced Hardware Platform Solutions with a focus on EMC design and testing. This role involves collaboration with global design engineering teams to ensure project goals are met in terms of time, cost, and quality.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that include EMC design, testing, and collaboration with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. You will be part of a dynamic environment that emphasizes innovation and quality in hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced Hardware Platform Solutions across various sectors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet project goals from an EMC perspective.
- Guide product design to manage EMC risks effectively.
- Specify and verify EMC test cases and testing procedures.
- Liaise with external laboratories for EMC testing and certification.
- Generate comprehensive test reports for safety and EMC approvals.
- Provide technical support for customer projects involving EMC topics.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in EMC test, design, and certification.
Proficient in EMC principles and standards.
Familiarity with worldwide certifications and agencies such as UL, TUV, FCC.
Experience in EMC design for Storage, Server, or Communication network switch products is preferred.
Fluent in English with excellent documentation skills.
