Job Description
The Engineering Manager (C&S) will engage in day-to-day activities that involve reviewing designs, managing technical submissions, and conducting site inspections. The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead civil and structural design works.
- Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee technical submissions and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Lead coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
- Manage design-related issues and provide solutions.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 20 years experience in the consultancy and/or construction industry.
Familiar with local regulations, codes of practice, and construction standards.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE/ PEPC) is a plus.
Strong leadership, technical review, and problem-solving skills.
Extensive experience in tender preparation and technical documentation.
