Role Summary
The Engineering Officer - FWH 1 is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of utility or facility operations and maintenance. This role involves providing engineering support, managing staff performance, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day operations focused on the maintenance and repair of facilities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all staff. You will also be responsible for overseeing staff performance and conducting regular inspections of assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of utility or facility operations.
- Provide engineering function support to users.
- Manage staff overtime, performance, and productivity.
- Conduct job briefings and training for staff.
- Perform weekly inspections on assigned areas of responsibility.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering / Competent Engineer.
Diploma in Civil Engineering / Competent Person with a minimum of 5 years working experience in Facility / Building repair & maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations.
Proficient in relevant engineering software.
