The Field Engineer (Network Infrastructure) is responsible for conducting on-site network audits, supervising vendor work, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. The role includes collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to maintain and enhance network infrastructure reliability.
The Field Engineer (Network Infrastructure) is responsible for conducting on-site network audits, supervising vendor works, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external vendors such as data center providers, ISPs, and cabling partners to maintain and improve network infrastructure reliability.
Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in structured cabling, ISP installation, or telecom fieldwork.
Knowledge of fiber optics, OTDR testing, and copper certification tools is an advantage.
Proficient in using cabling tools such as crimpers, splicers, testers, and punch-down tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Strong understanding of structured cabling standards and metro connectivity.
Good communication, coordination, and vendor management skills.
Independent, analytical, and able to work in field environments.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors with exposure to weather, dust, and uneven terrain.
Valid driving license and own transport (to be based at Jakarta Indonesia & Central Singapore).
Team leadership and coordination experience preferred for senior roles.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and support project delivery preferred for senior roles.
