Role Summary

The Finance Executive is responsible for performing income audit functions for hotel rooms, ensuring accurate revenue verification and recognition. This role plays a critical part in financial reporting and compliance within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Job Description

In this role, you will engage in daily financial operations, focusing on revenue audits and reporting. You will collaborate closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform income audit functions for hotel rooms to verify and recognize revenue.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including revenue, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Manage inter/intra company transactions and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation for annual audits and taxation processes.
  • Conduct GL-related workings and maintain schedules.
  • Report any breaches of internal control procedures to the Assistant Finance Manager.
  • Prepare reconciliations and analyses for Trade Debtors Account, Guest Ledger, Advance Deposit Ledger, and other assigned General Ledger codes.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, CPA preferred).

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Experience in SAP is an added advantage).

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
