Role Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to maintain the financial health of the Berjaya Group of Companies.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in daily financial management tasks, including the preparation and review of management accounts and cash flow statements. You will work closely with auditors, tax agents, and other departments to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review management accounts and related schedules.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors and tax agents.
- Prepare and review cash flow statements.
- Prepare tax computations for operating companies.
- Analyze financial information using Excel.
- Read and summarize legal documents such as contracts.
- Perform discounting on future cash flows.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
