Job Description
As a Finance Officer (AP), you will engage in daily tasks that involve managing vendor correspondences and maintaining account document records in a dynamic work environment. You will also assist in month-end and year-end closing activities while identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate posting of payable transactions.
- Process payment requests in a timely manner.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
- Handle vendor correspondences professionally.
- Maintain comprehensive account document records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements for accounts payable operations.
- Undertake any ad hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre-U, Diploma, or equivalent.
A member of ACCA/CIMA/CPA or related is an advantage.
Preferably 3-5 years experience in Accounting/Finance.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Meticulous with good attention to detail.
