Financial Controller, Executive – Orient Overseas Container Line (M) Sdn Bhd

The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the full range of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting. This role involves working with vendors and customers to maintain financial records and support audit and tax preparation processes.

The role involves managing the full range of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting. Responsibilities include verifying vendor invoices, performing job cost invoice matching, vendor reconciliation, monitoring vendor disbursements, recording customer payments, preparing Statements of Account, clearing AR and AP in the system, recording daily GL entries, preparing monthly GL reconciliations, completing monthly closing reports, and assisting in year-end audit and tax preparation.
