Financial Controller, Executive at Orient Overseas Container Line (M) Sdn Bhd - Selangor

The Financial Controller, Executive is responsible for managing the full range of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions. This role ensures the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting within the organization.

In this position, you will engage in day-to-day financial operations, working closely with various teams to maintain accurate financial records. You will be part of a dynamic environment that values precision and efficiency in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform job cost invoice matching to ensure correct billing.
• Reconcile vendor accounts to maintain accurate records.
• Monitor vendor disbursements to ensure timely payments.
• Record customer payments accurately in the system.
• Prepare Statements of Account for clients.
• Clear Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable in the system.
• Record daily General Ledger entries to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare monthly General Ledger reconciliations.
• Complete monthly closing reports and assist in year-end audit and tax preparation.
