Role Summary
The Operation-Marine, Executive is responsible for assisting in the management and optimization of marine operations. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality service delivery within the logistics and supply chain environment.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in day-to-day operations that involve overseeing marine logistics and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. You will work closely with various stakeholders to maintain strong client and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and optimizing marine operations for efficiency.
- Support logistics and supply chain planning and execution.
- Oversee compliance with maritime regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain client and vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery.
- Provide quality management and regional support to offices in Malaysia.
- Support budget planning and cost control initiatives.
- Monitor vessel berthing and operational KPIs.
- Contribute to projects aimed at operational improvements.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience in operations within the shipping/marine industry.
Flexibility to handle operational issues beyond regular hours and during holidays.
Experience in terminal, vessel, or depot operations is an advantage.
