
The Fundraising Officer is responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support the organization's financial goals. This role plays a crucial part in engaging with donors and stakeholders to secure funding and resources for various projects.
The Fundraising Officer will work closely with a small team dedicated to enhancing the organization's fundraising efforts. Daily tasks include researching potential donors, organizing fundraising events, and maintaining relationships with existing supporters. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet financial targets. - Research and identify potential donors and funding opportunities. - Organize and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns. - Maintain relationships with current donors and stakeholders. - Prepare and present proposals to potential funders. - Monitor and report on fundraising progress and outcomes. - Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote fundraising initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience in fundraising or related areas is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Malay is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
