The General Worker cum Warehouse Assistant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the branch facilities. This role involves hands-on tasks in a dynamic warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations and stock management.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in daily physical tasks to keep the branch facilities, including offices and warehouses, clean and organized. You will assist with loading and unloading goods while adhering to inventory management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cleanliness of branch facilities, including offices and warehouses.
- Assist in loading and unloading trailers efficiently.
- Segregate returned goods for processing.
- Organize stock according to SKU and FIFO principles.
- Monitor stock shelf life and manage cleaning supplies.
- Perform basic facility maintenance tasks.
- Conduct pest control monitoring as needed.
Job Requirements
Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks and manual labor daily.
Experience or knowledge in warehouse operations and stock organization.
Familiarity with FIFO principles and SKU management for inventory.
Capability to identify and monitor product expiry dates accurately.
Basic knowledge of electrical switches and pest control procedures.
Reliable attitude with a focus on facility maintenance and organization.
