Job Description
The Global Infrastructure Services Intern will assist in optimizing and improving business processes through IT infrastructure automation relating to data center operations, including Linux and Windows environments. The position involves automating system administration tasks using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, and Python, and producing documentation according to standards. This internship supports the management and automation of compute, storage, and network systems to ensure stability, service agility, and ease of management across global operations.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Hands-on experience in UNIX/Linux system administration including SSH, monitoring processes, attaching storage, cleaning disk space, and tailing logs.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Linux OS internals, file systems, disk/storage technologies, and storage protocols.
Proficiency in high-level scripting languages such as Python and/or Shell.
Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools including Ansible, PowerShell, and Terraform.
Experience with monitoring and system alerting tools.
Solid knowledge and experience in administering Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.
