This role involves supporting the management and automation of compute, storage, and network systems to ensure stability and service agility across global operations.
Job Description
The Global Infrastructure Services Intern will engage in day-to-day tasks that involve automating system administration tasks in both Linux and Windows environments. The intern will work closely with the team to enhance data center operations through various automation tools and produce necessary documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in automating system administration tasks using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
- Optimize business processes related to data center operations.
- Produce documentation according to established standards.
- Support the management of compute, storage, and network systems.
- Ensure stability and service agility across global operations.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Hands-on experience in UNIX/Linux system administration.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Linux OS internals.
Proficiency in high-level scripting languages such as Python and/or Shell.
Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools.
