Job Description
Mercure Miri City Centre is seeking a Halal Executive responsible for establishing and maintaining Halal compliance across all Food & Beverage outlets, kitchens, and storage facilities. The role includes managing Halal certification processes, ensuring adherence to Malaysian Halal requirements, and overseeing food hygiene standards. The Halal Executive will also conduct regular inspections, prepare for audits, and maintain necessary documentation to ensure compliance with relevant authorities.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Halal Management, Islamic Studies, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Certified Halal Executive / Halal Professional is preferred.
HACCP certification and/or Food Safety certification is an advantage.
Experience in Halal compliance, food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance.
Hands-on experience with MYeHALAL application and Halal documentation.
Good knowledge of Malaysian Halal requirements and food hygiene standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail.
