Role Summary
The Handyman (Civil & Structure) is responsible for performing repair, maintenance, and minor construction works on building structures. This role supports the Engineering team in ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained while adhering to Engineering EIMS standards.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring that all building structures and finishes are in optimal condition. You will work closely with the Engineering team to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and maintenance tasks on building structures and finishes.
- Conduct minor construction works as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Support the Engineering team in delivering efficient maintenance services.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Attend required training to uphold legal compliance and competency.
- Work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Building or Civil Engineering
At least one year of relevant experience
Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and concrete repair
Good communication skills
Physically fit for manual and outdoor tasks
Ability to comply with safety procedures and PPE requirements
