
This role is for a Head of Operations at a digital media company in Malaysia, focused on managing daily operations, budgets, resource allocation, and operational strategies. The position requires collaborating with the CEO, overseeing department managers, and supporting talent recruitment and business development efforts.
The operations manager will collaborate with the CEO to set annual short and long-term goals and develop policies to improve operational efficiency. The role involves managing daily operations, operational budgets, resource allocation, problem solving, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency across departments. The manager will recruit, train, and evaluate department managers and maintain strong relationships with key partners. Responsibilities also include overseeing company culture, talent recruitment, manpower planning, SOP development, solving technical issues, and leading business development efforts including contract negotiations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or any related field.
3 - 5 years experience in operations management in media , tech or related field.
3 - 5 years experience managing teams, building company culture.
3 - 5 years experience in Managing, Developing and implementing effective operational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize data for decision-making.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
