Role Summary
The Intern - IT / Computer Science is responsible for supporting the Services Design & Tools team in developing and enhancing mobile and web applications. This role offers an opportunity to engage in hands-on projects that improve team productivity within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Job Description
In this internship position, you will work closely with the Services Design & Tools team at Motorola Solutions, focusing on the development and enhancement of applications. You will be involved in creating automated test scripts, assisting with feature implementation, and participating in testing and debugging activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop automated test scripts to enhance application functionality.
- Assist in the implementation of new features for mobile and web applications.
- Participate in testing and debugging activities to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with team members within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Engage in continuous learning of new technologies and methodologies.
- Support team productivity through effective communication and collaboration.
Job Requirements
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Foundational knowledge and experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and software development lifecycle principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to commit to a minimum internship tenure of 6 months.
Able to start in April or May 2026.
