The Collections Assistant Intern role involves managing overdue payments and supporting small businesses. The position focuses on using problem-solving skills to engage with clients and improve their experience while gaining knowledge about financial strategies.
This role oversees the entire collections process, addressing everything from early-stage delinquencies to legal recoveries for SME borrowers. It includes developing targeted collection strategies based on risk, implementing communication systems to encourage timely payments, providing financial counseling, prioritizing high-risk accounts, and collaborating with legal teams when needed. The position also emphasizes optimizing communication channels to improve borrower interactions, addressing customer concerns, and managing teams to maintain high service standards.
Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Self-organized and eager to learn.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
