Internship Power BI & Data – Hatio

The Internship Power BI & Data is responsible for supporting data extraction and reporting processes using SQL and Power BI. This role involves collaborating with various business units to translate operational questions into actionable insights through data visualization.

In this internship, you will engage in daily tasks that involve writing SQL queries, building Power BI datasets, and creating insightful dashboards. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and support ad hoc analysis requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain SQL queries to extract data from database tables safely and efficiently.
• Understand business questions and translate them into report requirements and metrics.
• Build Power BI datasets including data modeling and calculated columns/measures.
• Create dashboards and reports with drilldowns, filters, and clear definitions.
• Set up scheduled refreshes and monitor for failures, addressing any breaking changes.
• Validate data accuracy through reconciliation and spot checks with stakeholders.
• Document all processes including data dictionaries and metric definitions.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests and small automation tasks.
