The Public Relations & Communications Intern is responsible for gaining practical experience in public relations and communications. This role involves working closely with a team to assist in various client projects and media engagement activities.
Job Description
The PR Intern will be involved in day-to-day activities that include assisting with client projects, managing brand presence, and engaging in crisis communications. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, providing ample opportunities for learning and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies. - Support the team in managing client projects and communications. - Engage with media representatives to promote brand visibility. - Monitor and analyze media coverage and public sentiment. - Contribute to crisis communication efforts as needed. - Help manage social media accounts and online presence. - Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative PR campaigns.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Strong interest in public relations, crisis communication, and digital media.
Good communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia is a plus, Mandarin is an advantage).
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to change.
