The Internship Web Designer is responsible for assisting the design team in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. This role provides practical experience in a professional environment, ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about web design.
Job Description
The Web Design Intern will engage in day-to-day tasks that involve supporting web design projects and optimizing visuals. The intern will work on-site at KL Eco City twice a month while also handling various design-related tasks remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating visually appealing website designs.
- Support web design projects from concept to completion.
- Organize and update website content on WordPress.
- Optimize visuals for better user experience.
- Utilize design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Collaborate with the design team on various projects.
- Handle additional design-related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Multimedia, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in WordPress and Elementor is preferred.
Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and web design best practices.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic-related tasks.
Front-end skills in HTML and CSS are a plus.
A creative mindset with attention to details.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Willing/able to work from home and possess own laptop.
