This role is for an IT Support Engineer responsible for providing first and second-level technical support to end-users through various communication channels. The position includes tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and network devices, troubleshooting issues, managing user accounts, and supporting office network infrastructure. The candidate is expected to have a background in Information Technology or a related field with relevant technical knowledge and communication skills.
The role involves providing first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, software, and network devices, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems, repairing and replacing equipment, managing user accounts and security settings, and maintaining IT documentation and asset inventory. This position also involves coordinating with vendors, supporting office network infrastructure and peripherals, developing the company website, and participating in IT improvement projects.
Bachelors degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Fresh graduate or 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office, and common IT applications.
Experience with WordPress, Office 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN).
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, server management, etc.) are a plus.
