As a Senior Project Finance Controller, you will be integral to the Southeast Asia Client Finance team in Malaysia. Your role involves managing client finances throughout the engagement lifecycle, including budgeting, monitoring revenue and expenses, and ensuring compliance with finance policies and local tax requirements. You will collaborate with client service teams, provide variance analysis, and support billing processes, while also guiding teams through contract terms and exception approvals. Your contributions will drive financial performance and support local finance and tax teams.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; professional accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA or equivalent) is a strong advantage
5+ years’ experience in finance and/or accounting
Independent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and stakeholders
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is an advantage
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Prior experience in a professional services environment preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Melayu
